Our mission patch takes its base design from the long-time Union station logo that adorns the historical building next to Daikin Park. This design was specifically customized to include the Astros “H” alongside the additional nod to our home, Space City.

With Space City at the root of Houston’s foundation and this design, we kept the moniker at the core of the City Connect 2.0. The Phrase “Space City” sits in the neckline on a lunar surface texture, intermeshing the past with the future.
Jock Tag
Our jock tag captures a moment in history for Space City. John F. Kennedy delivered his historic space travel speech on September 12, 1962 at Rice University in the heart of Houston. This speech codifies our city as Mission Control, our people as resilient, and our organization that will pursue betterment through hard work.
